JD Tew

JD grew up in a Christian home with great family values and attended church regularly until the age of 16. It was around that time that he became tired of church, religion, etc. and thought there had to be something better than all this religious stuff...all he needed was to get out in the world and find it. "Me, Myself and I" became his god and the one he would worship for the next 20 years. He tried everything and anything the world had to offer in relationships, alcohol, drugs, money, power, and material possessions trying to "satisfy" his god. "I thought I had it all...I thought I had everything...everything I ever needed or wanted however nothing ever satisfied or filled that emptiness and/or void in my life and I couldn't understand why?!"

"It was only when I was introduced to Jesus Christ that I found the answer. I gave my heart/life to Christ on Feb. 15, 1998 and it was then that I found 'true' satisfaction. I finally had found everything I had been searching for and more in Jesus Christ." He's the only one that can satisfy your needs and fill that empty hole in your heart.

Proverbs 14:12 says, "There is a way that seems right to a man but in the end that life leads to death."

In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am The Way, the Truth and the Life and no one comes to the Father except through me."

JD is the Pastor of Evangelism and Missions at Freedom Biker Church and he currently leads worship. He's also a member of Second Chance Music Ministry.

JD is married to Kellie. They have three kids, Mark, Brooks and Erin. Mark is married to Katy and they have a 3 year old daughter named Kelsie. JD and Kellie also have an old English Bulldog named Bubba!
